We’re launching Immunence! A whole-food dietary supplement  that is our small contribution to hopefully giving something back after the devastation that the Covid-19 virus has caused around the world. 

So many people have lost their lives, families have been devastated without even being able to say goodbye or pay their respects, millions are now struggling to pay rent or put food on the table and it’s been 3 months since I’ve been able to give my 74-year-old mum a hug. 

It was also my mum that phoned me up at the start of the health crisis saying that we should launch IMMUNENCE (back then just simply known as the ‘Magic Powders’ by friends and family) commercially to contribute something to the long-lasting effects that Covid-19 has and will cause. 

WHY IMMUNENCE WAS CREATED

The ‘Magic Powders’ were originally created in the summer of 2019, designed initially as a result of studying plant-based nutritional science for the last 4 years, for my partner Jose who had lost over 10 kilos (22 pounds!) in just a few short months! 

He had been suffering for years with a hiatus hernia at the entrance to his stomach and was getting weaker and sicker by the day. You can read more about his journey and amazing results here. 

We wanted to create a daily whole-food dietary supplement that focused purely on natural whole-foods, with no processing and no chemicals!

We carefully selected some of the most potent superfoods on the planet that were scientifically proven to reduce inflammation (a key driver for nearly all disease), protect against heart disease and cancer and deliver the highest variety and concentration of micro and macronutrients and antioxidants possible, whilst tasting GREAT! 

The results were not only amazing, but very fast. They worked so well that Jose regained all the weight he lost in around 6 months and has stayed steady since and we were soon making the ‘magic powders’ for family and friends. 

Most either had pain issues, stomach issues or seemed to catch every bug going around and just wanted to try it, to see if it would work for them as it had for Jose.

Those with stomach issues saw dramatic results in just a day or two and everyone who has taken it has not been sick a day since they started (including us!). 

THE START OF SOMETHING WONDERFUL?

Now, of course, this is a very small pool of people, and it’s just anecdotal evidence, but the sheer joy of being able to positively benefit my friends and family was tremendous!

So, when my mother suggested launching the powders commercially and potentially sharing what we had found with a much wider group of people, especially with the coronavirus being particularly risky for people with compromised immune systems or underlying conditions, it was a no-brainer. 

IMMUNENCE – a combination of the words Immense Immune Defence – was born and a group of dear friends and family have helped during the 2-month Covid-19 lockdown to put together a platform to be able to share the benefits of IMMUNENCE  with many more people.
